Fame is good but only when you are safe and secure. Safety is a major issue of all things in our country. To ensure the same, we have five categories of security in our nation, namely, SPG, Z, X, Y, and Z plus. The highest level of security is SPG. Below this, we have the z plus security which is provided by the National Security Guard(NSG) commandos of our nation. The VVIPs who have greater threats require greater and more rigorous security. Thus, they are guarded by the NSGs. One must have to be powerful and famous enough to be able to be included in this list. When we talk about power, the first ones to grab the seats are none other than our politicians. Only 17 individuals of India have managed to take the shield of z plus. Almost 551 NSG commandos are engaged in the protection of these VVIPs. The people with this security have 36 personnel protecting them round-the-clock. Narendra Modi
Narendra Modi who was born on September 17, 1950. Narendra Modi's full name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. Modi Ji was born in the Vadnagar city of Gujarat. In 2014, he led the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha elections, after which he was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India. He was the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014 and is a Member of Parliament for Varanasi. Narendra Modi, being the Prime Minister of India, is under SPG protection.

Amit Shah was born on October 22, 1964. He was born in a Jain family in Mumbai. Amit Shah's full name is Amitabhai Anilchandra Shah. Amit Shah is also known as the 'Chanakya' of modern Indian politics, Modi's close ally, Shah is credited with leading the BJP to victory in several elections as party president.
Amit Shah is the first Union Home Minister to be protected by the CRPF. Amit Shah is protected by 100 CRPF armed commandos in three innings under Z-Plus Security.
The paramilitary forces provide Z-plus (highest) protection to Amit Shah. Amit Shah is now provided security at his residence and office by ASL (Advanced Security Liaison).
Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi was born on 19 June 1970. Rahul Gandhi is known as a youth politician. Rahul Gandhi served as the President of the Indian National Congress from 14 December 2017 to 3 July 2019. Rahul Gandhi was born into an active family in politics. Rahul Gandhi belongs to the Nehru-Gandhi family, he has been interested in politics from the beginning.
The Central Government has withdrawn SPG Security from Rahul Gandhi's security. Right now Rahul Gandhi has been provided with Z + Security. Rahul Gandhi's family has now been provided with a Z-plus protective shell. Under Z Plus security, the Gandhi family would be protected by the National Security Guard or Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Mayawati
The Barak Obama of India as said by Newsweek who is a president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and also has been chief minister of Uttar Pradesh possesses a Z plus security shield. Recently, she observed a scaling down of the personnel who were at her service which freed up almost 300 policemen. She had four bulletproof cars making up to 26 crore Rs. for security purposes alone. Right now, she has no post and no seats in the Lok Sabha, even after it she manages to keep herself secured by the black cats. Yogi Adityanath
He is the current chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and also a Hindu Monk. Foreseeing the threats caused to a person on such a position, the decision of providing z plus security to Yogi came into existence by the Home Minister. He earlier had Y security cover under which he was escorted with 2 or 3 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) commandos. Now the pages of his books have been turned as he is being observed by 36 commandos round-the-clock. Before Yogi, former CM of UP also had NSG security around him.
Arvind Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal 52 year old an Indian politician and a former bureaucrat who is the current and 7th Chief Minister of Delhi since February 2015. He was also the 49 day Chief Minister of Delhi from December 2013 to February 2014. Currently, Arvind Kejriwal is the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, which won the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections with obtaining 67 out of 70 assembly seats and create a historic majority. In 2006, Kejriwal was awarded the "Ramon Magsaysay Award" for Emergent Leadership in recognition of his involvement in the grassroots level movement Parivartan using right to information legislation in a campaign against corruption. The same year, after resigning from Government service, he donated his Magsaysay award money as a corpus fund to found the Public Cause Research Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO).
Before joining politics, Kejriwal had worked in the Indian Revenue Service as a Joint Commissioner of Income Tax in New Delhi. Kejriwal is a graduate in Mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. In 2012, Arvind Kejriwal launched his own political party named the Aam Aadmi Party, which won in the 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly election. Following the election, Kejiriwal took office as the Chief Minister of Delhi on 28 December 2013. On 14 February 2015, he was sworn in as Chief Minister for a second term after his party's victory in the Delhi Legislative Assembly election.
Farooq Abdullah
This former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir who has also served as the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy between 2009 and 2014 is a son of the then Sher-e-Kashmir i.e. Sheikh He was also appointed as the president of the National Conference when he was just a neophyte in the field of politics after his father died. Farooq’s son Omar Abdullah is also included in the list of politicians to have the NSG commandos securing them.
S Jaishankar
Subrahmanyam Jaishankar (born 9 January 1955) is an Indian diplomat and politician who is the current Minister of External Affairs of The Indian Government since May 31, 2019. He is a member of the BJP and is a Member of Indian parliament in the Rajya Sabha since July 5, 2019, representing Gujarat. He has previously served as the Foregien Secratery from January 2015 to January 2018.
He joined the IFS (Indian Foreign Services) in year 1977 and during his diplomatic career spanning over 38 years, S JAishankar served in different capacities in India and abroad including as a HIgh Commissioner to Singapore (2007 to 2009) and as Ambassador to the Czech Republic (2001 to 2004), China (2009 to 2013) and the USA (2014-2015). Jaishankar played a key role in negotiating the Indo-US civilian nuclear agremment.
After retirement from Indian government services, Jaishankar joined Tata Sons group as the President, Global Corporate Affairs. In 2019, he was conferred with Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour. On 30 May 2019, he was sworn in as a Cabinet Minister in The Modi 2.O government. He was made the Minister of External Affairs on 31 May 2019. He is the second former Foreign Secretry to head the Ministry of External Affairs at the Cabinet-level.

SPG is a Special Protection Group that is made for providing securities to the most vulnerable person with respect to his/her position. No matter how much a common man ponders about the facts and concreteness of these high-level securities, the truth that lies behind this is that politicians with higher status do need rigorous security to ensure their personal safety.
No matter how much a politician or other z plus secured people feel about their status and position in the community, but at the end of the day, everyone’s goal is simple - safety and security. A handful of those in the Z Plus category like current and former Prime Ministers also get an additional SPG coverage.
The Z + level of security is provided by the National Security Guard commandos. In the 'Z' category, security cover is provided by Delhi Police or ITBP or CRPF personnel and an escort car.
